Barcoo Beef has a strong emphasis on the well-being of livestock from the primary level. Only British cross cattle are selected from recognised producers and then supplemented with silage and grain in their natural environment to promote maximum flavour and tenderness. This unique production system enables Barcoo Beef to produce a quality and consistent product all year round.

Cattle are processed at 18 – 24 months of age through the quality acclaimed Northern Cooperative Meat Company located in the Northern Rivers region of NSW.

In keeping with Barcoo Beef’s commitment to satisfying the most discerning customers, all product is endorsed by Meat Standards Australia’s tenderness guaranteed grading system which offers complete DNA product traceability.

In consolidating our reputation as a market orientated company, our products are available as whole primals, portioned controlled or value added.
